Submission Into the Divine


Bismillah hir-Rahman nir-Raheem. In the name of Allah, the Most Compassionate, Ever-Merciful.

There is no God but Allah Muhammad is the Messenger of Allah.
La ilaha il Allah Muhammadar Rasool Allah.

From Allah we are from and to Allah we will return.

O Allah we ask in the presence of our teachers and our guides and our Shaykhs. We are asking to be friends of the Friends of Allah. Yes. We ask of this O Allah, we ask for this humble station. O Allah we ask in the presence of those whom the Holy Prophet (saws) loves. These are the ones in his presence. And by the love You have O Allah for the master from your servants, the Holy Prophet Muhammad (saws), the One whom You Love with your Infinite Divine Love. It is in his presence we seek to journey to with our love for him and ask of You Ya Rabbi. Ya Sultan. Ya Subhan.

O Allah strengthen our love for him, for none can do anything without Your Permission. It is thee Who says "Kun Fa Ya Kun. Be and it will be." So Ya Rabbi, You can do anything. You can make a small candle shine like the moon. And the sun shine beside the moon. And O Allah, You can make the sun shy beside the Holy Face of the Prophet Muhammad (saws). You can make the quarks inside an atom larger than the whole universe. Yes. You can make the whole universe less than the size of an atom. Ya Subhanu Ya Allah.

Ya Rabbi we ask that You make us humble servants and that our every breath becomes a tasbih and that each step we take increases our Love for Thee. O Allah please submit us in the presence of Your Friends. Yes. It is too much for us to say that we are Your Friends. We would like to become the friends of Your Friends. Our ultimate point of hope is to one day meet with the Holy Prophet (saws) and become finished. Yes. By dissolving into the reality of Your Beloved One let us become nothing. The universes, heavens and the earth are much more than humbled beside the Footprint of the Holy Prophet (saws). We are less than the dust particles in the pocket of his robe.

What will we say in the Divine Court on the Day when Judgment comes to pass? That is something to ask. Ya Sayyidi Ya Rasool Allah! Ya Sayyidi Ya Rasool Allah! Ya Sayyidi Ya Rasool Allah! We are not even a drop in the your Ocean. Annihilate us in you, dress us with your dress, perfume us with your fragrance, shine our hearts with your light.

"And We did not send any messenger except to be obeyed by permission of Allah . And if, when they wronged themselves, they had come to you, [O Muhammad], and asked forgiveness of Allah and the Messenger had asked forgiveness for them, they would have found Allah Accepting of repentance and Merciful." [Holy Quran: An-Nisa (4): 64]

For the honour of the Prophet (saws), the righteous Companions, the Prophets and Messengers, the four Imams, our Shaykhs in the Naqshbandi Path, especially Khawaja Shah Baha'uddin Naqshband (q), Grandshaykh Abdullah al-Faiz ad-Daghestani (q), and Mawlana Shaykh Muhammad Nazim ar-Rabbani (q) and all the righteous!

Reality of the Awrad (Spiritual Practices)

Grand Shaykh (Shaykh Abdullah al-Faiz ad-Daghestani, may Allah exalt his secret) said, " If someone reads Fatiha , he will not leave this world without attaining those Divine Favors that are hidden behind the meaning of the Fatiha which enable him to reach a state of submission to Allah, Almighty and Exalted. Allahumma salli wa sallim wa barik `alaa Sayyidina Muhammad an-Nabiyyi 'l-Umiyy al-Habeebi 'l-`aliyya 'l-qadri 'l-`azheemi 'l-jaahi wa `alaa aalihi wa sahbihi wa sallim. As mentioned by Shaykh Muhammad Hisham Kabbani (qs) and many other awliyaullah, from the Sharh Salawat ad-Dardir al-`allamah as-Saawi, reciting this salawat will eliminate claustrophobia and bring ease to you in the grave. It will also remove the fear of the interrogating angels, Munkar and Nakir. It is mentioned that whoever recites this salawat once every Friday, upon his death Prophet  will go with him to his burial and bury him with his own blessed hands!
